My tags are all screwed up, thanks to id3 limits and AudioCatalyst. I'd like to be able to export the empeg song info database and edit the text file with an editor and/or perl scripts, then re-import it. I can't even bear to think of fixing all the problems with emplode's GUI. It seems like it would be pretty straightforward to modify the emptool sources to do this, although I haven't looked at them yet; I'm hoping someone else has already done this.

Alternatively, (assuming you still have all your mp3s outside the empeg), you can fix the id3 tags themselves and then upload everything again. I find id3lib perfect for this, due to its bare-bones command-line interface.

Uploading everything from scratch would be slow but works with the current version of the empeg software.
